Key Issues Shaping Arizona’s Future
This section offers a clear overview of the pressing political topics and Ciara Anderson’s plans to address them effectively.
Border Security
President Reagan said it, President Trump said it, and both were right. Without borders, we have no country. I believe our border must be secured, the wall must be completed, and we must fully support and empower our Sheriffs and Border Patrol agents to do their jobs.
I am the daughter of a first-generation immigrant family, and I deeply value legal, vetted immigration. People who want to be American and who respect our laws and values make for outstanding citizens. That’s why we love people who come to America the right way!
For those here illegally, they need to go. I support mass deportations, even when it’s difficult or unpopular. Too many illegal aliens are threatening the safety of our communities and our children. Those here illegally should not receive any taxpayer funded benefits either. Turn off the magnets and many will self-deport. If you are here illegally, you need to return home and follow the legal process to apply

Economy & Jobs
After four years of Joe Biden, many Americans are struggling just to survive. President Trump’s policies are starting to turn things around, but it is disturbing to live in the richest country in the world, yet see families crushed by rising costs. And what do we get in return for the taxes we pay? Too often we see that money being send overseas or lost to corruption.
We must stop being the world’s ATM and return to an America First economy. That means lowering taxes, cutting waste and corruption, and putting money back into the hands of hardworking Americans so families can stop living in survival mode and start thriving again.
Healthcare
Americans can no longer afford basic healthcare. Arizona must be prepared for changes coming with the expiration of the Affordable Care Act, while addressing staffing shortages and rising costs now.
Federal overreach has over-regulated our healthcare system and corporatized hospitals, leaving nurses and medical workers burned out and understaffed. As one of the fastest-growing states in the nation, Arizona should be leading with innovative solutions—especially for rural communities that lack access to care.
I support practical solutions like HB 2133, which allows out-of-state nurses to begin working within five days of moving to Arizona. We must restore state control, stabilize our workforce, and put patients and providers first.

Education & School Choice
Arizona is doing this right – our funding follows the child – giving parents control and allow each child to choose the education that best fits them. While Katie Hobbs and the Democrats want to end school choice in Arizona and shutter our amazing charter schools, I strongly support school choice and will defend our Empowerment Scholarship Accounts (ESAs), which give parents the freedom to choose where and how their children are educated.
I’ll work to direct more education dollars to teachers and classrooms, not to feed bloated bureaucracies that are growing so much faster than any other education expense.
And we need to win the fight and get back to the basics: teaching fiscal responsibility, life skills, and critical thinking—not woke ideology.
Election Integrity
Election integrity is one of the top concerns for voters because a great many have lost trust in our system, and when trust is lost, our representative democracy suffers. I support returning to localized precinct voting for accountability, transparency, and to speed accurate results. Arizona must take election integrity seriously by enforcing the law, holding bad actors accountable, and protecting our sacred vote.
The current infighting in Maricopa County needs to stop, and we need our elected officials to put voters and our elections first. It is possible to have clean voter rolls, credible elections, and efficient results, and we should not settle for less. We also need to ensure that we elect a Republican Secretary of State and put an end to Adrian Fontes’ continued abuses of authority. Our Secretary of State should be a champion of the law as written, not a violator of it.

President Trump
I am proud to have helped President Trump get elected. He is delivering a powerful realignment and has already accomplished more than any president in my lifetime—especially after the damage done by the Biden administration.
At the state level we can and should do much to support both MAGA and MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) efforts. The states can be powerful partners when it comes to reforming health care, social services, and a multitude of programs. As we are seeing right now in Minnesota with the rampant child care fraud, it is the states where these programs are delivered, and Arizona should be a leader in eliminating waste, prosecuting fraud, and delivering quality services to those in need.
Helping Veterans
Nearly 33,000 veterans are homeless in America. That is unacceptable.
We must stop prioritizing foreign nations over the men and women who sacrificed their lives, health, and freedom for this country. Veterans deserve respect, rehabilitation, and real support—not empty words. America must put its veterans first and that’s what I’ll do here in Arizona for our veterans.

Public Safety & Crime
Public safety starts with enforcing the law. We need harsher penalties for violent crime and drug trafficking—especially fentanyl—and we must support our law enforcement officers so they can do their jobs effectively.
Arizona should attract, train, and properly compensate officers to ensure public safety. We are competing with other states for officers and deputies in many cases, and that is a competition we should win. Everyone deserves a safe neighborhood to live and play in.
Second Amendment
The Second Amendment is my favorite constitutional right—without it, we wouldn’t have a free country.
Look at Australia, Europe, and Canada. When gun rights disappear, freedom disappears with them. Arizona’s Constitution states that the right to bear arms “shall not be impaired,” making us one of the strongest pro-Second Amendment states in the nation. I will fight to keep it that way and oppose all anti-gun legislation.

Sanctity of Life
We must protect our unborn children. I support policies that promote life, strengthen families, and support adoption.
I support legislation like HB 2155, which provides tax relief for families pursuing adoption. We should be encouraging motherhood, protecting the nuclear family, and rejecting radical movements that treat abortion as a casual right instead of a tragic outcome.
Constitution & Our Liberties
Our freedoms depend on strict adherence to the Constitution—both the U.S. and the Arizona Constitution.
In my own life, I’ve experienced violations of medical freedom and constitutional rights. Americans were told they could not participate in society without compliance. That is not freedom.
We must remain vigilant and push back as government encroaches on our liberties in areas like education, farmland regulation, gun rights, finance, and healthcare. Preserving freedom requires informed citizens to fight back—together.
