Who is

Ciara Anderson’s journey from adversity to community change, core principles and dedication, a clear summary of her objectives and motivations.

Ciara Anderson was raised in the small town of Castle Rock, Washington, by her grandparents after the death of her mother when she was four years old. She was raised in a working-class household—her grandmother worked in a local paper mill, and her grandfather worked for the G. Loomis fishing rod company. From a young age, Ciara learned the value of hard work, discipline, and personal responsibility.

Ciara was a competitive athlete, playing softball and volleyball and later becoming involved in weightlifting. She also participated in Future Business Leaders of America, where she learned the fundamentals of business, leadership, and parliamentary procedure.

Ciara learned early on about the give and take of real life. After struggling with addiction issues in high school, Ciara enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2003.  Sadly for her, the struggles continued and resulted in a court-martial and separation from the military.  The impact of that reset her life, she found God and developed a relationship with Jesus Christ, and she rebuilt herself through discipline and accountability.

She worked full-time while attending college and committed herself to living with integrity and responsibility.  The lessons she learned during that period, while personally costly, shaped her belief that accountability is good, laws should be enforced, and people are capable of real change.

Ciara earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a minor in Management Operations from Washington State University Vancouver. She went on to work in the electrical construction industry with Rosendin Electric in Hillsboro, Oregon, where she supported large-scale data center projects for companies such as Intel and NetApp. Her work included hiring and onboarding, workforce analytics, timekeeping, and administrative operations.

In 2014, Ciara moved to Kent, Washington, where she worked as a sales and staffing coordinator for AppleOne Employment Services. That same year, she met her husband, Rocky Anderson, and they married two years later. Rocky is a water and wastewater engineer and small business owner, giving their family firsthand experience with Arizona’s water challenges, infrastructure needs, and the realities facing small businesses operating under government regulation.

Ciara and Rocky welcomed their first child in 2017, at which point Ciara became a stay-at-home mother.

Between 2012 and 2016, Ciara regularly volunteered with organizations supporting women facing addiction, domestic violence, and human trafficking. She assisted with caring for women and children during times of crisis—service that shaped her commitment to protecting families and vulnerable communities.

During the COVID-19 era of 2020–2021, Ciara and her family lived in Washington State, where they experienced firsthand the impacts of government overreach. After choosing not to comply with mask mandates, Ciara was harassed, threatened, and subjected to repeated law-enforcement calls simply for exercising personal choice. She watched her community deteriorate as crime, drug use, homelessness, and radical ideology spread through schools and public spaces. During this time, she and Rocky welcomed their second child.

In November 2021, Ciara and her family relocated to Mesa, Arizona, seeking a safer place to raise their children. That move reinforced Ciara’s commitment to staying engaged locally and defending conservative values, so Arizona would not follow the path she witnessed in Washington.

She joined Arizona’s homeschool community and became a Republican Precinct Committeeman, where she learned grassroots organizing by knocking doors, engaging neighbors, and working closely with Legislative District 10 leaders and candidates. They welcomed their third child in 2023.

In April 2024, Ciara founded the Turning Point Action Red Mountain Moms Coalition in Legislative Districts 9 and 10. Today, she leads more than 200 moms and families, empowering them to engage in local politics, protect parental rights, and advocate for the future of their children.

Ciara has served on the LD10 Executive Board, first as 4th Vice Chair and later as 1st Vice Chair, where she helped lead and organize more than 200 Precinct Committeemen. She oversaw grassroots initiatives, digital communications, and district engagement efforts. In January 2025, she was named Outstanding Precinct Committeeman the Maricopa County Republican Committee. In December 2025, she was recognized by Turning Point Action as Best Coalition Chair.

In September 2025, Ciara was selected as one of only 14 women statewide to participate in the Republican Dodie Londen Leadership Series, a year-long leadership and policy training program that includes national training in Washington, D.C.

Ciara regularly serves her community through Generation Church in Mesa and volunteers with Hope Women’s Center in Apache Junction. She is also a member of Dobson Ranch Toastmasters and Ahwatukee Toastmasters, where she continues to sharpen her public speaking and leadership skills.

Ciara currently serves as Mrs. Maricopa County and will compete in the Mrs. Arizona America Pageant in May 2026, using her platform to promote healthy lifestyles, strong families, and American values.

Ciara Anderson is running for the Arizona House of Representatives to restore Arizona to its conservative roots, protect individual liberty, and ensure a strong, safe future for the next generation.
